This is a sad day for the community. A judge from D2Classic went over to the dark side and eradicated
all the forumposts he could. He also hijacked the op D2Classic channel and bans alot of people.
At this moment, most of the important posts have been restored, forum is still up and running.
The new channel we will use is "op D2C". See you there!
I will leave for holidays on thursday the 23th of july. I will return around 15 augustus.
Serenity (Serenity@D2Classic.net) has the adminstrating honeurs, where as Mark and Ilya host the channel and moderate the boards.
Incase of a reset I point you to the boards.

Great news for the Chaos Runners among us! Op D2Classic posseses a script now which allows you to make
organised runs. The proces is simple:

the game will be shown to everyone in channel

The 3v3 tournament has resulted in 5 teams signing up! I'd like to thank Mark for his efforts in hosting it

We are entering the last week of the running 1v1 season. The pointcounting will be closed
coming friday on 24:00. Coming sunday 26-10 the playoffs will be played. Watch the boards

Duel rules 1.6 are released, discussion at boards
The initial ladder rush was alot of fun. I'd like to thank the experience teams formed for making this possible.
Slowly but surely people are starting to build up chars for a new pvp season, myself included. I'll update the rules
for coming season pretty soon so you know what to expect from D2Classic.net in regard to duelling!
Diablo III has been announced by Blizzard. Because of my history within several similair communities
I am in heavy counsel about a big european community consisting out of these communities when DIII hit
the shelves. Until then, D2Classic.net will continue to be active.
We have a ladder reset coming up on 17 june 2008. Blizzard Entertainment celebrates with us our first anniversary!
Due to this event, the European Championship tournament of 21 june is cancelled. It will come back eventually.
D2Classic.net is ready for this reset, we have learned alot from previous reset. We hope to welcome back alot
of old members, and ofcourse welcome new members. D2Classic.net is open for both softcore and hardcore!
We all know that we have an European Champion coming up with football, but in addtion on 21 june 2008 D2Classic.net will
celebrate her first anniversary. To combine both happenings D2Classic.net will host her own European Championship.

Ruleversion 1.5.1 has been released. The only change is this one: forum discussion
Teams consisting (minimally) out of a Barbarian and an Orbsorceress are not allowed to precast
"Battle- "Commands & Order" and "Shout" using special precast weapons.

Changes are:
1. an increasement of 10 cold res versus blizz sorc for barb/nec
2. sorceress has to choose between ES or Twitchtroe
3. tournament duel time has been changed from 90 minutes to 45

Update: the Firefox frame problem seems fixed.
Be welcome to the new D2Classic.net page. The site comes with a totally new design, new guides and legit ladder.
However it seems there are some slight problems with FireFox. If you experience any problems with a unusual look,
please post this with a screen in the site development forum thread. Also there are a few small things still needed
to be solved which will be taken care of slowly in the next days.
